Jeep has been known as a truck that is great for off road adventures and will hold up to the many rugged aspects of the outdoors. This once American car company was part of the Chrysler Corporation and has recently been brought by a UK car company call Fiat. Jeeps made its debut to the world during World War II back in the 1940's. It is also this time that made the Jeep name famous. It was the main mode of transportation during the war and the Army found that these vehicles were unstoppable and very versatile. As a multi-use vehicle it could be used to carry supplies, carry a small amount of troops or be used to transport the wounded off of the battle field. It was also a great war vehicle. Solders could mount a 30-caliber machine gun on the vehicle and use it as any other war work vehicle.

Those days are long gone, but the Jeep is still here to stay. People are still getting just as much pleasure out of the Jeep as they did back in the 1940's.
